hue Terms of Service

1. Service Description

hue is a photo-sharing application where users post photos inspired by a weekly "Hunting Color." Posts are displayed on a global timeline during the week they are posted.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the photos you post. By posting content, you grant hue a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service, including the generation of collage images.

Content Guidelines

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence
• Is spam, misleading, or deceptive
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware or malicious code

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat violators.

Zero Tolerance Policy

hue has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that violates our Content Guidelines will be removed immediately, and users who post such content may have their accounts suspended or permanently deleted without prior notice.

Reporting and Blocking

Users can report objectionable content directly within the app. Users can also block other users to prevent seeing their content. hue reviews all reports and takes appropriate action promptly.

4. Usage Limits

Each user may post up to 4 photos per day. We reserve the right to modify these limits.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape, collect, or harvest user data without consent
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use bots, automated tools, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Create or maintain multiple accounts

6. Service Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, interrupt, or terminate the Service, in whole or in part, without prior notice for reasons including but not limited to system maintenance, security issues, or operational decisions.

We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at any time. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the suspension or termination of the Service.

7. Account Restrictions

Your account is personal and non-transferable. You may not assign, transfer, or sell your account or any rights associated with it to any third party.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by hue and protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, hue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Assignment

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, we may transfer your account information and user data to the successor entity. You agree that such transfer is permitted under these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction of first instance for any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
